Adonai Rophekah

In the story of our Exodus from slavery in Egypt, Adonai miraculously split the Red[EC1] Sea saving Israel.  Then Moses led the people into the desert, but after three days their drinking water ran out. When they finally found a water source, however, the water was bitter and undrinkable, and the people complained.

Exodus 15:25. Moshe cried to ADONAI; and ADONAI showed (יָרָה yarah {yaw-raw'}: flow, show, teach) him a certain piece of wood (עֵץ Etz: Tree,wood, timber), which, when he threw it into the water, made the water taste good. There ADONAI made laws and rules of life for them, and there he tested them.

The Complete Jewish Bible reads like most of the other English translations. After Moses prayed, "ADONAI showed him a certain piece of wood, which, when he threw it into the water, made the water taste good" Interestingly the Hebrew can actually read: "Adonai taught him a tree" suggesting the "teaching tree" of Abraham

Genesis 12:6. Avram passed through the land to the place called Sh'khem, to the oak of Moreh. The Kena'ani were then in the land.

Moreh is teacher in Hebrew so perhaps the reference in Exodus 15:25 is the Tree of Life that Yeshua was crucified upon! Was Adonai teaching Moses that the tree would ultimately yield Mayim Chayim, water of life as Yeshua referenced in John 4? - Immediately after the bitter water incident Adonai rebuked Israel and gave them a command and decree, a possibility:

Exodus 15:26. He said, "If you will listen intently to the voice of ADONAI your God, do what he considers right, pay attention to his mitzvot and observe his laws, I will not afflict you with any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians; because I am ADONAI your healer.(Rophekah: rapha' {raw-faw'}: mend, to cure, restore, heal, repair, make whole)”

If we’ll Shema, if we’ll submit and obey, if we pay attention and walk uprightly and holy before Him, He won’t afflict us with the diseases of Egypt!  Adonai Rophekah appears only once in Scripture and is the second name Adonai used to reveal Himself to His people. Interestingly Adonai later uses “Rophekah” regarding Egypt's eventual restoration and return unto Adonai:

Isaiah 19:22. Yet ADONAI will strike Egypt, both striking and healing (Rophekah), so they will return (T’Shuva: return, turn back, go back, restore, refresh, repair ,turn back to Adonai) to ADONAI. He will listen to their prayers, and he will heal them.

Healing is intertwined and connected to T’Shuvah! Turning away from sin and returning back to Adonai, the God of Israel for salvation (Yeshua). If we walked uprightly and holy with Him we wouldn’t be suffering any disease!  Since we are afflicted with sickness and diseases, we know not all is right between us and Him, we need Yeshua! As the story unfolds in Exodus 15 Adonai then directed Israel away from the bitter waters of Marah:

Exodus 15:27. They came to Eilim, where there were twelve springs and seventy palm trees, and camped there by the water.

Is Elim a foreshadow of the Messianic Reign, of the world to come, when healing will be a daily occurrence, normal for all Israel as well as for the 70 nations (Gentiles) of the earth?
Revelation 22:2. Between the main street and the river was the Tree of Life producing twelve kinds of fruit, a different kind every month; and the leaves of the tree were for healing the nations.

Many in the body are in agreement that there is a wave of Glory coming, an outpouring, a move of God! Possibly the last great move of God before Yeshua’s return!  There is great expectation among all the Jewish believers! This Glory Wave will come with great signs and wonders which I believe has already started!  As such, our ultimate healing, both individually and for the nations is only in and through Yeshua, the Son of Adonai, Deliverer of the world. As foretold through the prophet Isaiah in the clearest and most profound Messianic Prophecy contained in the Tanach: "

Isaiah 53:4-5.  In fact, it was our diseases he bore, our pains from which he suffered; yet we regarded him as punished, stricken and afflicted by God. 5 But he was wounded because of our crimes, crushed because of our sins; the disciplining that makes us whole fell on him, and by his bruises we are healed.

All healings are directly received through Yeshua, the living WORD, Yeshua Ha Torah of Messianic Prophecy. Yeshua is Adonai Rophekah, our healer, our restorer, our cure, and our repair!  There are actions required from the individual needing healed to be received and effective; T’Shuva, Word, Prayer, Praise and Worship! As Exodus 15:26 stated, if we Shema, if we submit and obey Him He is Adonai Rophekah, the Great Physician who heals the physical needs of His people as well as our emotional and spiritual needs!!  He is our Healer, in both body and soul!

Psalm 147:3. He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

This was and is Yeshua’s work while He was here on this earth! Yeshua discerned the peoples needs, Healed and restored them, everyone! Then He taught them about the Kingdom! Yeshua was relevant and connected with people.  He was charismatic, compassionate, and truthful, brutally truthful!  Several times Yeshua said “Go and sin no more”.  Twice in two very different situations Yeshua said this phrase!  The first is one of my favorite passages.  Yeshua encountered the invalid of 38 years at the Pools of Bet Zeta in John 5. He asked the invalid in verse 6 if he wanted to be made whole of which the man never answered?  Yeshua healed him anyway then ran into him again in the Temple Court where He said in:

John 5:14. Afterwards Yeshua found him in the Temple court and said to him, "See, you are well! Now stop sinning, or something worse may happen to you!"

It’s clearly and succinctly evident Yeshua knew the source and cause of the man’s affliction. Scripture doesn’t reveal to us the specifics of the man’s physical ailment but verse 14 is clear that his sickness was caused by his sinful choices. Yeshua warned the man that if he returned to his previous sinful behavior something worse would happen!

The second instance is in John 8 with the woman caught in the act of adultery. When the woman’s accusers brought her before Yeshua, they were trying to trap Yeshua into pronouncing judgment without direct eyewitnesses!

John 8:6-7. They said this to trap him, so that they might have ground for bringing charges against him; but Yeshua bent down and began writing in the dust with his finger. 7 When they kept questioning (erotao {er-o-tah'-o}: question, beseech, entreat, ask, interrogate) him, he straightened up and said to them, "The one of you who is without sin, let him be the first to throw a stone at her."

One by one, the condemning, interrogating, rabble rousing crowd left. Then Yeshua:

John 8:10-11. Standing up, Yeshua said to her, "Where are they? Has no one condemned you?" 11 She said, "No one, sir." Yeshua said, "Neither do I condemn you. Now go, and don't sin any more."

She had been engaged in adultery, she was guilty. In saying, “Now go, and don't sin any more." Yeshua was warning against returning to her sinful lifestyle choices. His words both extended mercy and demanded holiness at the same time. In both cases the people were given a second chance, there wouldn’t be a third. With forgiveness comes the expectation that we will not continue in the same path of rebelliousness and sin. Our first prayer in healing is to break the addictive cycles in our lives that open the door for sickness and disease.

II Corinthians 10:3-5.  For although we do live in the world, we do not wage war in a worldly way; 4 because the weapons we use to wage war are not worldly. On the contrary, they have God's power for demolishing strongholds. We demolish arguments and 5 every arrogance that raises itself up against the knowledge of God; we take every thought captive and make it obey the Messiah.

Every addictive thought, action, and sin must be broken including bad eating habits!  Healing can be spoken in-your tongue is your first line of defense;

Proverbs 12:18. Idle talk can pierce like a sword, but the tongue of the wise can heal.

And again in:

Isaiah 57:19. I will create the right words: 'Shalom shalom to those far off and to those nearby!' says ADONAI; 'I will heal them!'"

Healing can be received through and during worship:

I Samuel 16:23. So it was that whenever the [evil] spirit from God came over Sha'ul, David would take the lyre and play it, with the result that Sha'ul would find relief and feel better, as the evil spirit left him.

Healing can come through supplication, crying out to God;

Psalms 107:19-20.  In their trouble they cried to ADONAI, and he rescued them from their distress; 20 he sent his word and healed them, he delivered them from destruction.
Healing comes through trust:

Matthew 9:21-22 For she said to herself, "If I can only touch his robe, I will be healed." Matthew- Yeshua turned, saw her and said, "Courage, daughter! Your trust has healed you." And she was instantly healed.

Another common source of Sickness and disease are Demonic afflictions, so healings come by expelling or rebuking those demonic afflictions.  Demonic activities include but are not limited to: Enticement, Deception, Enslavement, torment, Drive/compel, and defile
Demons fight against Shalom in numerous aspects. Inner personal harmony, Peace of mind, Physical well-being, Harmonious relationships with other people, especially those closest to us. The great distinctive mark of demon activity: restlessness which we see and experience during profound worship, strong word delivered, and the presence of Adonai.  But they must obey:

Matthew 17:18. Yeshua rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, so that from that moment he was healed.
To receive a healing you have to want to be healed.

John 5:6. Yeshua, seeing this man and knowing that he had been there a long time, said to him, "Do you want to be healed (Hugies in the Greek: Sound, healthy whole)?"

Yeshua was asking them he wanted to be made whole?  Thats different than receiving healing! Being made whole requires repentance and a life style change! The reality that we live in today isn’t one of overflow or an over abundance of miracles, signs and wonders.  We’re not exactly swimming in supernatural healings yet scripture reveals that there are many, many ways to receive them.  There isn’t a set pattern or special recipe! Adonai is more likely to hear your prayers and effectively intercede in your life if you are earnestly trying to do your part to help yourself out of our current situation.
 

1.  God saves those who submit to his authority.

2. There is no God in all the earth except the God of Isra'el

3. Repentance of Sin through Yeshua is a must.  Sin prevents miracles!

HEALING PRAYERS

Abba Father we ask you to forgive our sins.  Our sins of avarice, gluttony, greed, and every addiction to tobacco, alcohol, drug addiction (both illegal and prescription), gambling addictions, pornography, sexual addictions, and all other addictions, insecurities, the spirit of fear, shortcomings, and sin.  You Abba Father who sits on the throne of justice, our creator, we give you permission to enter our hearts, spirit, and soul to help us and redeem us from our addictions and sins.  We humbly repent before you and ask you to give us the strength and victory to overcome our faults, temptations, and weaknesses so that we may be effective witnesses walking in signs and wonders, for your praise and glory.  Apart from You, we can do nothing!

Adonai, I ask by Your power, through your Son Yeshua, that you touch each and every person who has come before you and heal them from every form of sickness and disease, both physical and spiritual. Heal organs, tissue, muscle, and every cell in their body so that their bodies may function in the perfection to which You created it to function.  We thank you with praise and thanksgiving as we serve you with renewed health and vigor, in the name of Messiah Yeshua. Amen.

Adonai, your word states that whatever we bind (forbid/prohibit) on earth is already bound (forbidden/prohibited) in heaven and whatever we loose (allow/permit) on earth is already loosed (allowed/permitted) in heaven.  Therefore, we bind, forbid, prohibit, and curse every sickness and disease that is attacking each and every individual before you, that’s hearing my voice.  I command, in Yeshua’s name, every sickness, disease, affliction, and tsuris to flee right now, may Your enemies be scattered in the name of Messiah Yeshua.  

Father, I loose and release divine, supernatural health within their bodies. I loose the virtue of your Son, the blood of Yeshua to course through every vein, artery, and capillary to restore and renew their bodies.  I speak to closed wombs and command them open and release the gift of life in Yeshua’s name.  We speak to babies in the womb and command normal development with sound minds and whole, healthy bodies in Yeshua’s name.  We give you Adonai, all praise, exultation and thanks for the supernatural healings being released right now in the name of Your Son, Messiah Yeshua. Amen.

Abba Father, in Isaiah 53 You said that our iniquities have been healed through Yeshua’s bruising.  Yeshua bore and healed not only our diseases but through His bruising Yeshua has healed every iniquity, every curse to the tenth generation from those who release them to Yeshua who removed our infirmities and carried our sorrows.  I release physical, emotional, and spiritual miracles and healing right now in the name of Messiah Yeshua and we thank you that for complete, whole body healing. In Yeshua’s name.

Healing Decrees

The blood of Yeshua separates me from the curse, sickness and disease.   Therefore, I forbid any sickness, disease, affliction, or curse to come upon or enter my body.  I break every ill word, curse, coven, or spell spoken over me and or my family to the tenth generation in Yeshua’s name!

Every virus, microbe, bacteria, and evil cell that touches my body shall die instantly in the name of Yeshua.  I decree that every organ, tissue, muscle, sinew, tendon, cartilage, bone, nerve, and cell in my body will function according to the supernatural perfection of God’s image to which I was created.  I forbid any malfunction and malady to take root within my body in the name of the Messiah Yeshua.

Every rogue, diseased or cancerous cell that does not promote life and health in my body I cut off from its source or life and nourishment.  I command my immune system to destroy all diseased or cancerous cells, tumors, or growths in my body in the name of Yeshua.

Abba Father, our bodies are the habitation of the Holy Spirit. I command these bodies to release the correct amounts of chemicals so that the body will be in perfect chemical balance.  I command the pancreas to secrete the proper amount of insulin for life and health.  I command all of the various glands in our body to secrete the correct levels of endorphins, adrenalin, hormones, melatonin, testosterone, estrogen, and all the dozens of other chemical signals that comprise a healthy, balanced body.  I command hearts and valves to beat and operate in normal, rhythmic pattern as You, Father, created them to pump the life-giving blood throughout the body.  I speak to blood cells and command them to operate correctly and assume their proper shape as God created them.  I command arteries and veins to be free from all blockages, shrinkage, and hardness.
 
I speak to the immune system the words of healing and life: Shalom-Shalom!  I forbid any confusion in the immune system and through the power of the Ruach HaKodesh that dwells within me I quicken and infuse my immune system with the life and wisdom of God, which guards my life and the health of the body.

In Yeshua’s name we forbid our bodies to be deceived in any way by any virus, disease, or symptom.  I will not speak life to any false attack or deception of pain, twitch, spasm or ache within my body. I speak life more abundantly and health to my body.  I give permission for God's complete and whole word, His covenant promise to permeate every muscle, cell, nerve, bone, tissue, and joint in my body with life and health.  I give no place to sickness or pain. According to God’s word in Isaiah 53, By Yeshua’s stripes I AM healed. I AM FREE!
